Dr. Cliff Morris is a highly regarded board certified cardiologist,
lecturer, and author in the areas of adult cardiology. He has been
practicing cardiology for over a decade within the Richmond area.
Since 2001 he has been Medical Director of the Physical Therapy
and Cardiac Rehab department at John Randolph Medical Center. He
is also the former cath lab director there. He is currently a member
of Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists, the largest technologically
advanced cardiology group in the Richmond area.
Educated at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he
received his BS degree in biology while playing basketball for the
legendary Coach Dean Smith and UNC Tarheels. His former teammates
included greats such as Micheal Jordan, Sam Perkins, Kenny Smith,
and Brad Daughtery. He was the recipient of the Rick Sharp Award
while on the team. Academically, he was both a Board of Governor's
Scholar and a Herbert Lehman Scholar. He graduated from UNC in 1985
with a BS degree in biology. He later graduated from medical school.
He successfully completed his internship and residency at the Medical
College of Virginia where he was awarded the Best Intern Award.

| Dr. Morris'
far-reaching interests nurture his enthusiastic participation in
the world of medicine, fitness, and alternative medicine. He is
currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at John Randolph
Medical Center. In the world of bodybuilding he is the Cardiology
Advisor for Muscle and Fitness Magazine, a national/internationally
known fitness magazine. He is proudly working with True Fitness
Solutions to create innovative heart healthy prescription exercise
and diet plans. He belongs to the American College of Cardiology,
the Association of Black Cardiologist, and has served as an advisor
to the Mid-Atlantic Holistic Health Conference.
He is involved in many activities within the community, including
giving motivational and empowering speeches at area schools and
churches and mentoring children by bringing them on rounds at the
hospital in an effort to teach them healing through compassion,
love, patience and respect.
Dr. Morris has lectured extensively nationally and internationally.
His articles and advise on bodybuilding and the heart have appeared
in Muscle and Fitness, Muscle and Fitness Hers, in addition to various
local publications, fitness facilities, and internet sites. He has
deep interested in hospital affiliated wellness centers, and is
currently developing a holistically based wellness program at John
Randolph Medical Center designed to focus on our internal passion
as the catalyst for better quality exercise and daily living. His
is considered an inspired motivational speaker. He has experience
in fitness training, and strives to devise different methods to
bring people to their psychological and physical peak. He has been
featured on local television specials focused on heart health.
Dr. Morris currently lives in Chester, VA, with his loving wife
Fran, his 4 children, and or course, Chico, the chocolate lab. He
lives his life to the fullest through daily meditation, exercise,
and active service in his local and extended community. He is deeply
grateful for the opportunities and circumstances that enable him
to grow, heal, and contribute to the world. He permeates his life
and work with a depth that bespeaks his passion for living and learning.
